If there is a term that is commonly mistranscribed, you can use the Correction Phrases feature to ensure it appears correctly in the text now and moving forward. This is helpful for organization jargon, acronyms, or another specific language the Agent may not know.
|For example the word “Powow” itself is unfamiliar to the Agent so it transcribes this word in different ways such as Powell or Pablo. We added wrong words to Correction Phrases to fix the transcription for our organization’s meetings!|
Organization Admins can correct phrases for all future meetings in Settings.
Add new phrases
- Login to Powow
- In a sidebar on the left select Settings
- Choose Correction Phrases
- Click + Add new phrases to enter a new correction
- In a popup, type the wrongly transcribed and corrected texts
- Use to add more phrases
- Save your changes
At the top of the list, you can see options including the search key . Search the phrase that you need by typing it in the search field.
Add New Phrases in the Meeting
The easiest way to add a Correction Phrase is to highlight any word or text in the meeting dialogue and click Add Correction phrase in the dropdown. A window will pop up asking you for a "correction phrase" to this mistranscription.
The change will take immediately in your meeting and will be automatically applied to all future meetings.
Apply Correction Phrases
A newly added correction phrase will activate the Apply key. Use it to apply your corrections to all existing meetings. All new coming meetings will automatically receive the correction.
